The core assembly (CHRA) is the central part of the turbocharger with the two blades (compressor and turbine), which also contains the bearing. When ball-bearing turbochargers suffer bearing damage, it is only possible to replace the entire Garrett fuselage assembly. So far, individual components of these turbochargers are not available.
