The term core assembly or (CHRA - center housing rotating assembly) describes the middle part of a turbocharger consisting of compressor wheel, turbine wheel, running gear and bearing within a cast cartridge. If ball bearing turbochargers suffer a bearing failure currently only the complete Garrett core assembly can be exchanged. Up to now single components of these turbochargers are not available.
Core Assemblies other than listed can be purchased upon request.
